All are welcome!

At Himinbjörg, we have felt the weather shifting — a sign that Freecloud is approaching.

Freeclouds are unpredictable phenomena; they belong to no weather system, defy all forecasts, and their positions are nearly impossible to determine.

We spoke to Heimdallur, the guardian god of Bifröst and watcher of the worlds, asking whether preparations should be made — whether a defensive stance was needed, since Freecloud seemed to be gathering near the bridge to Valhalla. Heimdallur assured us that Freecloud had in fact emerged from the creative currents of Jón Óskar, one of the most distinguished artists nurtured by this land.

Reassured, we welcomed the arrival of Freecloud as an honored guest — a phenomenon of art, mystery, and transformation.

Jón Óskar is a highly regarded Icelandic artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, and installation. His project Freecloud brings an atmosphere of poetic unpredictability — a shifting realm between myth and weather, presence and imagination.

Sunday, March 17, 13:00–14:00:
Jón Óskar will give a talk on his artistic journey in the studio of Bjarni Sigurbjörnsson at Himinbjörg.

Everyone warmly welcome.
