A collaboration between six women artists in Iceland and Norway
BERGMÁL / EKKO is a collaborative exhibition by six women artists from Iceland and Norway, presenting graphic works. The exhibition includes prints, artist books, and mixed-media works created in dialogue between the two countries.
The collaboration began from a shared interest in nature and environmental themes and has developed through joint residencies and workshops in both Iceland and Norway. The artists have worked together in Hvítahús in Krossavík, West Iceland, and in Lofoten, Norway.
This exhibition is one of several results of their ongoing creative exchange between Iceland and Norway.
