Explorations in form, perception, and deviation
Three artists present new works built on different materials and approaches, united by a curiosity toward material qualities and transformation. Their drawings, sculptures, and mixed-media works explore perception, nature, and the boundaries of form.
New Works
Join us at Himinbjörg Art House for the “New Works” exhibition, showcasing the latest artistic innovations by Bjarni Sigurbjörnsson. The exhibition opens on June 1st from and is open daily between 14:00 to 18:00.
Freecloud
Freecloud by Jón Óskar drifts between myth and weather, exploring the unpredictable and poetic forces that shape our perception of the world. The exhibition invites visitors into a space where imagination, transformation, and atmosphere converge — a meeting of the seen and the unseen.
Andbyr Himinbjarga
Welcome to the exhibition Andbyr Himinbjarga, opening on Saturday, February 3rd from 3 PM to 5 pm at Himinbjorg Art House, Munaðarhóll 25-27, Hellissandur. Open on Sunday, February 4th from 2pm to 6 pm.
Barok
The Exhibition ‘Barok’ at Himinbjörg Art House opens on December 1st. Open 2 PM – 6 PM Saturday and Sunday. Warmly welcome.
Svermur: Wanderer in the mist of colors
Join us for the exhibition opening of Jón B. K. Ransu at the 3 Walls art space in Hellissandur on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, from 16:00 to 18:00. This exhibition showcases Ransu’s latest works, which contemplate the formlessness of wandering through a series of wall paintings and silk screen prints. The exhibition runs until November 19th, open Thursday to Sunday.
